CONTACT LENSES
Over 4 million people in United Kingdom, about 15% of people who need to wear spectacles, experience the freedom and benefits that contact lens wear bring:
- Contact lenses offer natural all round vision
- No one knows you need a vision correction!
- Freedom to wear spectacles when you choose, or not at all
- Superior vision for sports and active lifestyles
- No glasses steaming up, or spots in front of the eyes when it’s raining!
You may not be aware that over 85% of people who need to wear spectacles could become successful contact lens wearers. Yes, that does include the over 40’s too! You could be amazed at the quality of your vision compared with spectacles.
Some wearers of older lens types give up after many years of successful wear. Most commonly for reasons of reducing comfort and wearing time. In recent years the contact lens profession and manufacturers have recognized the significance of this. Specifically lens materials and designs are providing superior performance in even the most challenging environments, especially the latest Silicone Hydrogel lenses.
